Custody exchanges can be a challenging time for some parents. Exchanges can become upsetting, hostile, or even dangerous. If you are experiencing such a situation, we offer three options.

• Public exchange: the parties can meet at the Center for an exchange in the parking lot. We are conveniently located on the square with a parking lot visible by the public.

• Supervised exchange: a third party supervisor can oversee a public exchange to assure everyone conducts themselves in a safe and appropriate manner.

• No contact exchange: these are sometimes necessary due to orders of the court or high conflict relationships. In a no contact exchange, the child arrives at the Center 15 minutes prior to the receiving party and is escorted to the receiving party by a Center staff member.
